A Place to Grow
A small farm in the middle of the Pacific. A few goats. A lot of bees. And a deep love for this messy, magical work.
I’m Kelli, and I run Rebels’ Roost, a tiny regenerative farm in Hilo, Hawai‘i. We raise goats, keep bees, grow food and medicine, make soap, and spend a lot of time trying to rebuild worn-out soil into something full of life.
This blog is a space for both celebrations and challenges. I’m here to share what’s working, what’s not, and what I’m learning along the way. Some days it’s all baby goats and ripe fruit and sunshine. Other days it’s broken tools, tangled fencing, and a goat named Beatrice launching herself sideways off the milking stand and dragging me along with her.
I believe in sharing knowledge generously. I continue to learn about soil health, animal care, beekeeping, planting, making, and doing the best we can with what we’ve got. If you’re into that too, pull up a chair (or a five-gallon bucket) and join me.
